I haven’t been on the Tumblr machine in 2 months and I missed writing stupid boring blogs that nobody sees. Been a horribly busy two months, no rest for the wicked………….ly handsome 😄 But yeah, have to get my legs waxed today 😢 Knees keep caps popping out so to get me to the end of the season, have to pop then in every morning using this crazy strong strapping that rips the skin just to keep them in place, so my legs are soon to be naked. “Good luck with the leg waxing, hope you don’t die”. Thats the nicest thing she’s ever said to me. You can’t die from getting your legs waxed right? Speaking of hair, I’ve grown fond of my 10 day old moustache, its like feeding the stray cat that visits your house, he’s kinda cool&I’m not ready to give it up just yet #ManlyTears HOO-RAH!

So 2013 isn’t panning out how I planned it to pan out. Two funerals and a MRI on both knees which will require surgery on both to repair the meniscus’………not what I had envisioned for 2013 aka “the year of MEEEEEEEEE”, but hey, it could be worse right? Exactly. I’m not gonna say that I’m due a break because nobody is due anything. You reap what you sow and all that hot garbage. I’ll make my own breaks, good bad and indifferent and I will deal with the consequences of each. But this idea of being “due a break” seems crazy to me it really does. I mean you have innocent people being gunned down on a daily basis, what are they due? Or what did they do to be due being shot dead? Absolutely nothing&that’s why it’s crazy to me. Yeah, I wish I didn’t have badly injured knees but that’s the way it goes. It sucks, sport is my life and so is my independence and I’m going to have to give them both up for awhile, but it could always be worse. I don’t consider this as a “health issue”, I wake up every day feeling like a bajillion bucks and sure the knees can be sore, but at least that’s all that’s sore. #PMA all day, yessir. #Hashtag #AtlasHands HOO-RAH!
I am a pantheon of useless knowledge which can help during exam time, anyhoo, a wise man once said that you should never write when you’re feeling emotional or sentimental, never really thought of it like that before but I kind of agree. PMA all the way. #2013 HOO-RAH!
First January exam of 2013 went like the perfect first date. (For arguments sake, the exam paper will play the role of the female on the date). She was wined, she was dined, she got a little lucky ;-) and she went home satisfied……….They always do ;-) #BestInTheWorld HOO-RAH!
Lost an important member of our family over Christmas and New Years. So whilst we put on a brave face for Christmas, it was tough, then we got the call on the 30th and that was that. And I can’t help but feel guilty. I built Christmas up so much, I guess it was never gonna end how I wanted it to. Seems to be a trend, a lot of the things I get excited for end up in disappointment. The lesson? Maybe don’t dream so big. This time last year, exams were on the horizon and I was stoked. This year, with exams less than a week ago, feeling kinda numb. Hope this feeling doesn’t last too long. HOO-RAH!

On the 48th Day of Christmas(out of 67)…….The Top 5 tv shows of 2012 (in my opinion):

No Spoilers! Now, call me biased because I’m Irish, but for me, there wasn’t a better t.v show anywhere in the world than “Love/Hate”. Nidge Weasel is probably the most fascinating character on t.v right now. The season finale from start to finish was the best episode of the t.v year. Class. It just nudged “The Walking Dead” into second place. A lot of people felt that season 2 was fairly flat, I didn’t agree, but this season was action packed, lot of key characters (surprisingly) killed off, with one in particular even bringing a tear to my eye. Andrew Lincoln has to be in with a shout of winning an Emmy this year. I’ll be honest, “Breaking Bad” seasons 3 or 4 didn’t blow me away, but really enjoyed the last season, but why the long break? “Arrow” was the shocker for me this year. I expected it to follow the lines of “Smallville”, but it didn’t, thankfully. Oliver Queen is such an unappreciated character in comic book land, but great job on the show. “Homeland” went through a bit of a second season syndrome for me, picked up as it went along and ended strongly, more of the same please.

On the 41st Day of Christmas (out of 67)……….yesterday was ‘Christmas Day” on campus, which would make today Stephen’s Day I guess, but anyhoo, ‘twas a class day. It had the whole first day of RAG Week vibe going on, just with a Christmassy theme. Beer cans all over the place, people stumbling in&out of lectures, tis the season folks. But FINALLY people embraced their inner Christmas Jumper by FINALLY wearing them, only 40 days after I started, but hey, I appreciated the love. Today is Tuesday, meaning only 3 real days of Uni left til Christmas Holidays(3rd level, Fridays pretty much mean Saturdays Part 1) followed by January exams. Can’t believe we’re in the last week of the 1st semester, which means we’re half way through the academic year. Totally freaks me out how quickly it’s flying by. School never flew by. School dragged on forever, a day felt like a week, a week felt like a year, a year felt like a lifetime. But with Uni/College, it’s the total opposite. Time flies when you’re having fun I guess. “Too much fun, what’s that mean? It’s like too much money, there’s no such thing. It’s like a girl too pretty, with too much class, being too lucky, a car too fast, no matter what they say I’ve done, I ain’t ever had too much fun”. Never admit to having “too much” of anything.
